Hellertown Community Days
Wrap Up
SVLC was proud to be a part of Hellertown's Community Days for the 5th straight year.
We sponsored another successful blood drive. The folks at Miller Keystone came with their Blood Mobile and gave the following report. 44 people signed up to donate. Out of that group, 26 people were able to donate a pint of life saving blood.
Congradulations to our chairman Lion Scott and Miller Keystone for another successful event!
Also, SVLC served up their famous Sausage Sandwiches. Many hungry Hellertown patrons enjoyed this delicacy.
We will be back in 2009! Make sure you stop by early, since we will be offering a breakfast sandwich and coffee as well!
SVLC Sunday Breakfast
Done for the Season!
Another SVLC breakfast season has drawn to a close. We like to thank all our supporting patrons who stopped by the first Sunday of the month and helped us with this fundraiser.
This year SVLC is proud to report that over the 7 month event, we served over 2,500 breakfasts to our community. Profits from this event is in excess of $5000.
Every cent of our proceeds from this and all our events goes towards our Blind and Hearing Impaired projects, as well as our local community, such as scholarships, and donations to other local agencies.
We look forward to seeing everyone again October 5th for the start of our 2008-09 SVLC Breakfast Season!
